All of the nearby hotels are downtown. The good news is the armory building is a short to average walk from most of the places you'll want to stay. But there are also plenty of good options within a few miles.

Hotel Deluxe...a great option for a mid-priced hotel ($160 to $180). 13-ish blocks away from the venue. WE HAVE A BLOCK OF 10 ROOMS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY HERE. CALL FOR A RESERVATION AND MENTION IT'S THE COHEN/LEARY WEDDING FOR 10% OFF.
The Governor Hotel...this is very close to the venue but a little spendy. expect about $220 a night.
Lucia...same price range as deluxe. the rooms can be a little small but stylish.
Courtyard Marriott...about 6 blocks away from the venue. WE HAVE A BLOCK OF 10 ROOMS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. CLICK HERE FOR A KING OR DOUBLE QUEEN ROOM. both options are $149 + taxes. you can also call the hotel and let them know it's the cohen/leary wedding.

ACE HOTEL...if you're looking for something a little cheaper. you can get a room for about $115 a night with a shared bathroom. there are private bathroom rooms too for a bit more. It's a few blocks away from the venue. Portlandia made fun of it.
Crystal Hotel...this was just renovated and opened not long ago. it is $105 or so for a room with a shared bathroom. pay more for private. it is also very close to the venue.
Jupiter Hotel...on the other side of the river but still a short cab ride from the venue. it's a converted motel that was updated a few years back. it's "hip". they have rooms for $130 to $165ish.
the nines..a newer, fancier hotel. WE HAVE A 15% DISCOUNT IF YOU USE THIS LINK.
SILVER CLOUD INN, HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & NORTHRUP STATION...these three hotels are in upper NW portland (24th, 23rd and 21st avenues respectively). about 18 to 25 blocks from the venue. they are a little cheaper than the downtown options. Northrup is $170 for a suite with two queen beds so it's good for sharing. its also on the streetcar line that stops at the venue. silver cloud is as low as $140.
there are lots of other choices including fancier stuff like the heathman. If you don't mind being a little farther away from the venue there are cheaper options on the eastside.
